I'm getting married on Medusa at SFMW!

So are you saying white people are stupid and lower in class then black people?

Sounds cool but I think I will stick to the church idea.

Who cares???????????????? um try a wedding chapel please like regular people.  White people.  You will not see a black man and woman getting married at no rollercoaster.  They will be at a church saying 'thank the lord'.

Excuse me but I care. Marrage is a wonderful thing, and we wouldn't be here without it...Aside from all the grammar errors, that was a total racist comment that was not needed. Who cares where you get married? As long as you love the person to whom you are wed...

If we don't get married on a coaster, we'll probably make sure we get on one the day of anyway. As far as comments regarding the church, we are agnostic. But if we were religious, the location wouldn't matter as God is omnipresent. What's important is that our friends and family are there to celebrate with us. And given that, we might opt to keep the ceremony normal as there are members of our families who would not be able to join us...which wouldn't be cool. But we're still toying with the idea. Thanks all for your comments.
Coasterman, how did you get permission?

Yeeee Haaawwww!

Congrats!  but how can a woman wear a traditional dress on a coaster?  they don't allow dangly earings or loose articals, so what kind of dress will she be wearing?  also, make sure your ring man has a good grip or you'll probably never see the rings again.

Congratulation...hope you have a great wedding on a great coaster!!!

In Mexico we also say..."God Bless America!

Janfrederick, it was set up through my ACE representative actually.  He talked with SFMW about getting married on Medusa, and the park loved the idea.  If you are an ACE member or a member of another club, you should check with the rep to see if they would be willing to work with you on this.  Congrats on getting married, and I hope you have a long life together filled with coasters!  Especially the ones if IOA, I just love that park!  I should've gotten married on Hulk!  ;)

St. Louis - STL you need not slam other people for their hopes and dreams of their perfect marriage. Yours is in a wedding chapel, theirs may be on a coaster. As long as the person you love is willing to share his/her life with you, it doesn't matter where the vows are exchanged (Coaster or Chapel). Congrats to all those finding happiness with someone they love!!! Besides, hopefully you are marrying someone with your ideas, goals, values and enjoyment. If that means a coaster wedding I say go for it!!!

well you could always get divorced and then re-marry in Hulk.  that would bring a totally new meaning to the phrase: "I think its going to work this time!"

Congratulations man, I saw you that day becasue I knew something was going on when they didn't open the park right away to Medusa. I wish I would have known about it and was knowing that I was going that day becasue I was an ACE member who was 15 there and they wouldn't let me in. They said that you needed to be an ACE member and so I showed the worker my card at the rope about 20 minutes before you guyz left and they said no. Oh well, at least you had a good time riding it! Awesome ride and great way to get married. Hope you have a happy and long lasting marrige with many years of solitude.
Where are the pics of the wedding?
Yes, I was already married on Medusa in March of this year, but I think Janfrederick brought the topic out of mothball because he wants to get married on a coaster also.  You can find pics from my wedding at:

There are just a few, since they were taken by a friend.  Enjoy!  And I hope that everything goes well for you Janfrederick, let me know if you need anything further information.  :)
