Ike and Kemah Boardwalk

Just hope they weren't insured by AIG. :) Given the current financial crisis, credit crunch, etc., economic reasons may be more of an obstacle than anything physical or structural in getting the Boardwalk back to normal operations.

^But the extraordinary oil prices and profits have meant that the economic downturn elswhere hasn't really hit Texas specifically. If Ike hadn't come, they'd still be flooded...just with cash instead of water.
