IJ:ST animation at 2005 Detroit Auto Show

For anyone going to this year's Auto Show, pay close attention when you get to the Mini display. They have a monitor playing the Italian Job: Stunt Track animation cleverly hidden.

The display has a sign standing on the floor advertising the ride. Surrounding the sign are some poles/barriers made up to look like a construction site. Pay attention to the floor, though, because that's where the monitor is. They've got a circular opening with a manhole cover sitting next to it, and the monitor is inside the hole, facing upwards. The animation is the full-length video that we all have access to here at the 'Buzz.

Seeing the ride cross-promoted like this just cements in my mind that there are going to be a few cars sitting around the ride entrance with info on local dealerships/where to take a test drive/etc....

Later,
EV

They be stupid not to. They should have a video playing of the actors talking about how much they liked the cars from the DVD extra features.

As if they needed to actually sell those cars. When I test drove one the dealer just handed me the keys and said have fun.
No!! I was there yesterday and completely missed it! When were you there?

I wish it would have been a bigger screen. Ah well. (Just got back.)
