Video game site IGN posted a video clip from the forthcoming RollerCoaster Tycoon 3. The new game pushes the franchise into the 3-D realm. The video shows rides and peeps in motion, including a point-of-view on the rides and a break-dancing bear.
I'm wondering if that water is rendered or if that's actually in-game rendering. I'm sure the only way to get it looking that good is to use an Nvidia card, ATI skips out on half of the particle rendering to cheat on specs.
I ask because many people on here like to search things like patents and things like what a park is gettting so i guess they did some digging to see how it would operate.............Its just a question..............
I really hope that you can have a guest POV, not just on rides, but for the whole park. That way, you can walk around and see exactly what a guest would see besides just panning around. I think the game looks awesome and once again, I can't wait.
Is there any way to get this or something and post it on another website? I don't really want to subscribe to IGN Insider, I really want to see this video, and don't want to go through the hassle of $5.95 just to see the movie clip. Any advice/help?
That is what I was thinking rentzy17. With so many games borrowing ideas from the GTA games, I saw some potential for that to happen here too. I am all for it as long as it doesn't take away from the fantastic coaster and amusement park simulation that the RCT games provide.
