if you were blind

I myself am nearsighted, and can't be bothered with contacts, so it's the glasses route for me. I've ridden both with and without them, and personally I'd still ride if I were blind or deaf. If I were blind I'd be able to feel the sensation of going up, but not know how high it was (obviously). Anyway, it might feel higher than it really is because of the uncertainty.

I'm at rutgers! But I never went there! Check it out! http://rutgers-newark.rutgers.edu/ I'm all the way to the left, I wear glasses.

I'm fully deaf here, I dont mind not hearing the "roar" of coasters. Only I want is the feeling of the thrill of coasters, Anyone with ears, eye, and walking problems CAN still enjoy coasters. Besides I CAN feel the "roar" from coasters. :)

Personally, I like riding coasters with my eyes closed at times just to feel the difference. Raptor is great with eyes closed. And PkiFanatic is right. People who are lacking in some senses (blindness, deafness) have heightened senses in other areas.

That's surprising that some buzzers are deaf because the percentage of deaf people is really low.
They are not that low, Medusafanatic. In my school alone have about 40 deaf/hard of hearing students in a MAINSTREAM school with about 1300 hearing students.

Wow thats alot. We don't have any in my school and we have 3000 kids.

Blindness may make parts of a ride better and other parts worse. As has been said, riding with eyes closed can be more exciting at times, but can make others sick.
I think that not being able to see the coaster and it's elements before the ride would kill some of the thrill. Hyper and Giga coasters are meant to intimidate the awaiting riders. I think these rides would loose some trill if the rider was not able to see the lift hill, the loops, the trains racing by. Or they were not able to look down from the lift hill and wonder if they really wanted to do this.

It just makes me thank God that I have good eye site and hearing.
