I don't even think Nitro is that good. It has less silly helixing but even in the front, the air is still pretty...poofy. None of that, "holy crap ow my thighs" Intamin's tend to have.

If I truly didn't like S:ROS then why would I bother riding it first thing every time I visit the park, not to mention trying to get in as many rides on it as possible before closing? night rides on that thing just can't be beat.
Is the brake run on SROS significantly shorter than on Goliath, which would mean that stronger magnets would have to be used and the kicker wheels don't have enough power to move the train through the magnets. If this is the case, can't they just replace the kicker wheels with more powerful ones.
With only fixed brakes the brake run should be truly fail safe.

Not sure how Goliath SFH works, but I'd bet dollars to donuts that there's a combination of static and movable brakes (ala MF).

Goliath has not one, not two, but eight kicker wheels in the brake run. I'm sure each motor can put out 5-10 HP (3.5-7.5 kW) for intermittent duty.
