If You Could Create a New Breed of Coasters.......

What would it be?

I would invent a coaster that would start off as a Spiderman type ride, then swit over to a roller coaster.

Have a coaster start out as a dark ride ala LoCoSuMo and then hit the main lift and have a regular coaster course. Sounds perfect for HW and CCI don't ya think ;)

For those of you who are familiar with Drop Zone at PKI, you might understand this. Anyway, you take the same Drop Zone tower except the seats still revolve around the tower excecpt they face inward at the tower. So, your facing the tower the whole way up except when you get to the top the seats flip so your being hung upside down facing the ground of course you could'nt be upside-down long so in about 5-9 seconds you drop face first towards the ground and once you enter the brakes the seats flip up agian so your in an upright position faceing the tower. Now I know this sounds insane but it would be a wicked ride!

But just for the record:

A coaster that has 2 or three points along the track where the track moves and can take two different paths. (think the piece of track on X-Flight that connects both sides of the station to the lift).

Have a couple different blocks. At the end of each block there is a piece of track that rotates taking you either to the left or right. Include two or three of these block sections and you have many different layouts on one coaster. A coaster with just three of these block sections would have 8 possible paths.

Plus it's not too big a safety issue because they'd only be at the end of block brake sections, so if the track isn't in place, the brakes just stop you.

Hershey Tour: The Ride! LOL thats great! I had a similar idea on the multiple path coaster. Except mine was that u go shooting out and get launched up a spike, then the track switches to a different set of track and u take the cirtuit backwards. The station would have track that switches behind and infront of it so u do the ciruit backwards and then come into the station forwards. I call my idea, the switchtrack coaster.

That would be awsome, if you could have like 3-4 different section like this (3 choices per section) you would almost never have the same ride.

Reverse reverse freefall, a giga-mine train, the launched mine train, the pivotal reverse mine train, a tower that's nothing but an elevator lift, with drops & helices all the way down, the pinnacle of all grandfather mine trains, & a little idea I have that I call somewhere in the middle. It's a backwards sorta larger ride, that you ride inverted in between the rails mostlty, facing backwards.

Stand-UP Inverted.
