Idlewild to make "huge" announcement tommarow.

Any ideas on what it could be?

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

We were in the locker room yesterday when one of the seniors came in and wrote on the board, "practice tomarrow," which caused me to smirk. When someone asked me what was funny, I told them to check out how tomorrow was spelt...no one else could tell what was wrong with it, which was enough to make me laugh out loud.

This thread is having a similar effect on me.

I was taught in 3rd grade to break the word out when you spell it:

Tom

Or

Row

HUGE announcement:

Could range from a 400ft coaster to closing the park... or anything in between.

"Yes... well... VICTORY IS MINE!"

They could be adding to the Water Park or Changing Mr Rogers ride to the New Micheal Jackson Ride!!!!

No I don't have a kid, but I still want to ride!

^ So this "kid friendly" park is planning something very scary for next Halloween?

Spinning coaster? "Huge" is vague, but promising...

For being such a nice, busy park, they really build some cheap rides. I'm guessing that the "huge" announcement will be that they will build a new flat of another kiddie coaster. That would be huge for them.

Don't get me wrong. For what it is, Idlewild is a nice park.

Lol, I did not even notice that I spelled that wrong untill I checked the post just now.

As you can see, it was 2am when I posted it. :)

Anyway, this park could use some sort of larger size coaster like a big dipper(gl) type coaster.

My guess is just another water park add on.

Did they pick anything up at the Kiddieland auction?

crazy horse's avatar

If they did, I would not call it "huge".

It's the return of The Royal Hanneford Family Circus. Find the info HERE.

What seems small to some, is very big news to others. What were you expecting? A huge mega looper?

Jason Hammond's avatar

For the demographic of the park, this IS huge news.

880 Coasters, 34 States, 7 Countries

At least it's not the Commoner Hanneford Family Circus that's coming.

I think they've struck an important note that we've mentioned around here many times over the years: "diversity of offerings". For their demographics, location, etc., this is a near-perfect addition.
