Ideas for rides based on T.V./Movies

I was just wondering what other T.V. shows or movies would make good rides. Personally I think Fast and The Furious:The Ride would be cool. For example, you could board a vehicle like in spiderman, but one that looks like a tricked out tuner car. Also, there could be multiple tracks where you were racing other people and you could escape different things such as the cops and Johnny Tran(First Movie). Just stuff like that. What do you think.

Not that this is revelant, but I'm looking forward to The Fast and the Furious 3 next summer!
Hmmm...for some reason an indoor dark ride/coaster (ala Rockin Roller Coaster at Disney) themed after the Matrix sounds fun to me :-D

Haha no I'm not giving Patrick the finger

I was thinking some kind of "Lord of the Rings, The Ride". A roller coaster that start´s on a Station called "The Shire", continued by a chain lift with a Rivendell theme. At the top of the coaster a sign with the legend: "You Shall Not Pass !!!!!!!".

The rest of the ride could feature Moria Mines Underground sections, Some curves and loops over the Helm´s Deep, Fangorn Forest, Rohan, and Minas Tirith.

Before reaching the finall brakes, an underground tunnel into the fire of Mordor.

At the brakes sections a final sign with Gollum saying: "Go away and never ride My Precious"

Harry Potter Chamber of Secrets:

Classic Dark Ride though the scene when the chamber opens, roller coaster section for sliding down the water pipe, scary dark ride with the baslisk.

2022 Trips: WDW, Sea World San Diego & Orlando, CP, KI, BGW, Bay Beach, Canobie Lake, Universal Orlando

Kings Island's new for 2005 attraction is going to be Titanic: The Passion of the Godfather afterall. What an uplifting and exciting themed experience. ;)

Seems like Nosferatu would make a great theme for a flyer. Very creepy. Also Kill Bill would make a really great 4D movie experience I think. Some reddish water spurts would be cool.

Oh... and Dark Crystal would be great as a ride at Disney. But the best idea of all would be Clerks: The Experience. All they would have to do is put in a qeue line in front of a convenience store and let people stand around.

The Andromeda...starts out as a regular coaster with all the various loops, then when you think its over, it speeds up to over 100mph into slipstream :)

Don't forget the finale where the car jumps the harbor onto the boat. ;)

Disney could retheme "It's a Small World" to the movie "Boat Trip" :-)
Dr. Strangelove, or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb: The Ride. (or DSOHILTSWALTB:TR)

My blog You said, "I'm gonna run you down." I heard, "I'm an orangutan."
A porno ride is clearly the best way to go. . .

Down is the new up.
Dragon Rider, I like the concept of Clerks: The Experience. I would stand in line for that one. :=)
A Rocket Coaster based on the Evil Dead! The Trains could be themed as Ash's 73 Delta 88 The station would be the cabin. The ride itself would be based on the scenes where "The Evil" is roaming thru the woods.

An Interactive Dark Ride based on any zombie movie would be awsome too.

A Simpsons ride would be pretty sweet too. DOH!

Herbie: The Love Bug: The Ride... themed Beetles on a wild-mouse coaster, or a dark ride with horrible 60's & 70's refrences.

Futurama: The Ride... Based upon the cult cartoon with rocketship cars in New New York setting.

The Munsters: The Ride... Another dark ride in the Munsters car through their spooky mansion, and rex.

The Appledumpling Gang: The Ride... Any ride with Don Knotts as the center of attention would rock.

Speaking of which:

Threes Company: The Ride... Another dark ride where there's only 3 allowed per vehicle. You over-hear a voice in the other room saying "ohh, it's soo big but soft", and when you round the corner, you find out they're referring to their new couch.

Stargate SG-1: the Ride

Yes, have the train launch from an outside station into the stargate and into a building where all kinds of bright lights and a number of inversions... Then spit the train back outside in a area themed to Chulak... Then back through the building back to Earth... and hopefully not to Antarctica (as per the two gates on earth issue) or the dreaded Alaska (ala DT).

(Edited to fix spelling and grammar.) *** Edited 4/21/2004 3:13:19 PM UTC by joe.***

I still want to see a pair of dueling inverted themed to X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter....

Don't forget the Haunted Mansion-like finale, where you pass by a set of mirrors and an arrow points to the one passenger who's gay [but not really gay]. Who will it be this time?!?

Leela pilots us in a "limited depth-perception" tour de force through the ruins of Old New York, and in the grand finale, we find ourselves back in New New York, safe and sound in Professor Farnsworth's lab...with a glass of BenderBrau...:)

Learned recently from an *enhanced* version of The Breakfast Club: Bender in Futurama is named (and has his personality "themed after") after the Bender character from TBC..."Don't, don't, don't, You, Forget about Bender"...:)

I was thinking more of Monty Python with the Black Knight where he says "None Shall Pass" That would be a cool themed ride back to King Arthur and his Knights.
