Ideal Coaster

I think an ideal coaster would be one that stars out as a normal sit-down but turns into a suspended or inverted. I heard that they were going to put one in Disney World. If you've heard anything about them post.

RCDB!!!!!!!!

How would that be possible?

Maybe if you have a B&M sitdown and during the ride all the seats raise and it becomes a floorless?!

Out of the coasters i've ridden here is what I rank them overall:(ive been to canobie lake and SFNE)
1. S:RoS 2. Yankee Cannonball 3. Riverside Cyclone 4. Canobie
Corkscrew 5. Thunderbolt 6. Galaxy 7. Mind Eraser 8. Dragon coaster 9. poison ivy's tangl

Quick lets all get cynical! If a new type of train was created I'm sure it could be possible. My guess is that it'd be a heavy train thus requiring a lot of supports or really strong track.

Sounds like X to me...........?
Sounds like it would have to be a hybird Pipeline coaster. I would hate to see the cars. I can't convice a sit down coaster becoming a supsended or inverted half way thru the ride. The cartoon show Transformers come to mind.

Of course that's just my opinion I could be wrong~Dennis Miller

Hey that was my idea. the car would be both inverted and floorless. There would be wheels on top and the bottom. Throughout the ride the it would start off as inverted. Then at some point in the ride the train would connect to track under the train and the inverted track would stop.

Force Freak....you gave me an idea!!!

What's love...it should be about us, it should be about trust!

Dont get any ideas, I made this concept up like a year ago.

an interesting idea could be an inverted and floorless together but not the same as above. There is boxtrack (e.g. B&M)that is pretty chunky with rails on top and bottom. There is an 8 train car as per usual with the inverted below and floorless or sit down above. They could run connected together or seperatly. The supports would spread out between the two tracks.

I---------------I-----I--------------I

Inverted below and sit down above. 2 different rides and 1 huge capacity!

I hear something COLLOSUS coming. Cheese at its best hey!

MilliMan, basically it's a Setpoint Seizmic, but instead of on the sides (ala X minus spinning) it's on the top or bottom. On the sides sounds better to me, because then it's floorless and inverted, in a sense, just like X.

Yatta!
Hey, look, I have a signature now! Even if it is only Yatta...

I was thinking so it is top AND bottom so there are 8 seats per row. 4 on top(sitdown) and 4 below (inverted) the track.

I came up with something like that when I was a boy (9 or 10). The cars where able to flip like a troika flat ride. the ride would start with the track below you and then part way through the ride the track would flip over you and the ride would become like a suspended. I am 28 now so I had this idea way before inverted, flying, or 4-d coasters were desinged. My main influance for this idea was a troika and a suspended.
Come to think about it, I also had an idea much like the 4-D coaster. I thought about putting a zipper tipe ride vehicle onto a coaster track thus creating a flipping coaster. My idea only had 1 set of seats in the middle instead if 2 set of seats, 1 on each side like a 4=D.
