I just saw one of the new IBM business services commercials, and the guy is talking and standing in front of a Morgan (looks like a turnaround part.) Now, I've never been on any Morgan Coasters, so I can't recognize it by sight, and the thing's in black and white, so you can't tell the color. It's right next to a ferris wheel. Looking at RCDB it seems like it's very likely the Santa Monica West Coaster at Pacific Park, but I'm not positive. Is this correct?

Bingo. I saw the same commercial. I was looking for parks with Morgan Hypers
and a Giant Wheel near the turnaround, and came up with a big goose egg. I forgot about the little Morgan mine rides. Good job!
"X" marks the spot in 2001!

Good deduction Jman! A lot of people forget about Pacific Park. It's a nice little park, but seemingly always on the verge of closing. It seems when the foot traffic studies were done they only looked at the holiday weekends and ignored the rest. Oops! There is a lot of really dead days and nights when there are more employees on the pier than patrons.
