IAAPA Trade Show Ambassador

Has anybody ever done this? I just applied online for the show in November and I wanted to hear some feedback from someone who's done it before. Any help would be great!

*chuckles* I think Ambassador sounds much better than Gopher...as in "go for...." which is what they are called at Science Fiction conventions.

Actually, I'm not even sure if I'm going to be doing it now, because someone screwed up and I'm not technically on the schedule. I'm registered speaker without a time slot. We'll see what happens.

A couple of hours ago I was in there with no session associated with my name. Now I'm in there twice, and it's the wrong day. It should be Thursday, unless I can do it from Ohio. :)

about the show-it is a good experience. Great for a resume, and the contacts you make are awesome!!! I did the program in 05, and I've been to IAAPA 3 separate times. It's awesome everyyear, much better in orlando though. The only reason I didn't do it in 06 was because in 05 a professor screwed me on a grade (long story), and I didn't want it to happen again. *** Edited 9/21/2007 12:09:17 AM UTC by Turbo***

Based on Jeff's situation...it sounds as if the show may need more than a few Ambassadors.
