IAAPA 2011 Day 3

Sunday, off the Busch Gardens. First stop, Cheetah. Very nice. Fast loading, smooth, and just plain fun. Much better than Maverick. There, I said it. Then to Montu, which was a walk-on. Very smooth. 9/10 and 8.5/10.

Then to Rhino Rally, which seemed shorter, and no bridge. Not a lot of animal this trip. 7/10. Then to Scorpion, 8/10, Wild Izzy (the mouse) 7/10, and then to Kumba 8/10 after feeding quarters into the Congo Rapids geysers. Kumba still needs some new trains.

Then to a bbq lunch, and then Stanley Falls, which was pretty wet, 8.5/10, and Shrieka, 9/10. The front row is quite the seat to have. Spent some time feeding kangaroos, which one actually escaped, and then to Lion on Gwazi. Barely any difference with the new trains. The track needs some serious work. Tiger is getting new track on the lift hill, which didn't help us today. 6/10. Overall Busch Gardens, 8.5/10. Very clean park, very good operations, cashiers, etc. All great employees. Sea World needs to take some assistance from them.

Rhino Rally is pretty much useless now that they've shortened it again.
