IAAPA 2000: Zamperla coaster announcement delayed until next quarter

Zamperla has been teasing its next roller coaster model, a "flying" type where riders are given the sensation of flight, on their own Web site as well as in forums. However, in a statement made to CoasterBuzz by Zamperla public relations representative Debbie Israel, the ride will not be formally introduced at next week's IAAPA conference and trade show. The new target date is some time in the first quarter of 2001.

"Due to the fact that it is a prototype ride we have encountered some delays with its production in an effort to meet our checklist and industry standards," says Israel. She also indicated that visuals and press materials would not be available at the show.

too bad, we been waiting for a long to the iaapa show, just to had a little taste of this, but we have to wait more, :(

Keeping Coaster!!
Maybe Zamperla should just stick to flat rides and let the big boys do the coasters.
