IAAPA 2000: Organization sizes up the numbers after the show

According to a press release issued by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA), 27,598 people attended the annual trade show and conference in Atlanta this year. Buyers came from 101 countries to view the products and services of 1,303 exhibitors in 552,009 net square feet of exhibit space. Of those buyers, 76.1% were U.S. and 23.9% were international.

CoasterBuzz members also had an enthusiastic response to the event. During the show, which was held November 15 to 18, 8,000 coaster nuts visited CoasterBuzz, viewing a combined total of 112,000 pages.
