IAAPA 2000: New CCI coming to Indiana Beach

Posted | Contributed by Jeff

Indiana Beach is next in line for a wood coaster from CCI. The approximate stats for the ride, to be named Cornball Express, include a 55-foot lift with a 75-foot drop and a track length of around 2,000 feet. Before a long helix ending, the ride will travel within the structure of the neighboring Hoosier Hurricane coaster, a possible first of its kind.

For more information, check the CCI Web site.

JD-ROS sounds like a JD "D" to me. You can pull the bents up with a "Poppin' Johnny"!
Thunder Bolt, my mistake.
This is great, cant wait 'til it opens now! It says that it zooms past the high turns of the Jet Star. What ride is that, is it a kiddie ride?

The Jet Star is a coaster built on top of a building (a shelter and a restaurant) which might be old, but has lots of fun elements...many helixes.

Here is a crappy photo I took: http://www.geocities.com/indianabeach2001/images/tiger.jpg

I will have better shots of all the coasters and main rides next year!
