IAAPA?

Question...... I'm moving close to Atlanta (okay well closer than I am now) and was wondering how you got into IAAPA. Do you buy the tickets?

You have to "register" with IAAPA to attend. Cost looks to be $70/person this year:

Well, if you're thinking it's still in Atlanta, it's not. It's at Orlando this year, and I believe it will remain that way for a few years...

What exactly is IAAPA?

International Association of Amuserment Parks and Attractions. What they're referring to is probably the convention/trade show.

The IAAPA trade show is geared toward those in the amusement business and individuals who pony up the dough can attend. It is not a place for enthusiasts to go and beat vendors and park managers to death with questions about where their new rides are going.

I wouldn't beat them it would just be pretty cool to see what's in the works.
