Can someone clue me in on this.
My favorite MJ tune: "Billie Jean" which I have been listening to alot now. RIP MJ.
looking for the tallest traditional lift hill, or the tallest 90* chain lift? or are you even looking for a coaster?

I don't know for sure, but I've been on several Eurofighters and GrAdv's Ultra Twister, as well as Fahrenheit. The lift on Thunderbolt seemed taller/longer than any of those.
The amusement park rises bold and stark..kids are huddled on the beach in a mist

I'd say it's one of the ones in the Burj Khalifa...
I develop Retro Games for macOS, iPhone, and iPad when not riding coasters.
But I can tell you the tallest "lift" in the US is not in New York, but in Chicago. 1776 my @$$!
Sorry.
Tallest 90 degree lift hill on a coaster. :)

Oh, well, that's very different.
Toboggan?
I wouldn't know off hand who has the tallest, but I'd guess Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit at Universal has the tallest 90 deg. lift I've ever experienced. Certainly more than Fahrenheit, Mystery Mine, or that Nick ride at The Mall.
Why do you need to know? (NOMB, just curious...) Is RCDB any help at all with an answer?

Tallest coaster with a vertical lift is Hollywood Rockit at 167'.
For some reason RCDB doesn't list Eurofighters as having vertical lifts; however, Takabisha is 141' so that isn't quite as tall. I don't think any other Eurofighter coasters match that height.
Last edited by PhantomTails, Thursday, July 10, 2014 7:36 PMSpeaking of vertical lifts, where in the park is Knoebels planning to put their new-for-'15 Impulse ride? I'm sure it was covered here somewhere, but I forget.
You know, my Toboggan comment above was just a joke, but I'll be darned. There is every single one on earth listed on RCDB, all coming in at a height of 45 feet. Which makes the omission of the Eurofighters from the list even stranger. They clearly go straight up. A lift. Right?
And never mind, I remember. Knoebel's ride is going down at the big parking lot end of the park, near Whipper and the ski lift. The bumper boats and something else go away for it.
Edit.
Wait: there's one Gerstlauer Eurofighters on the list, this one: http://rcdb.com/10059.htm#
Must be an error, or I'm missing something.
