I Saw Shockwave Break Last Weekend....

This did happen, I have pics that I took today from Sky Trek Tower. The blue train is missing the first two cars on the transfer track. Here is the pic http://coasterworlds.cwfwrestlingonline.com/Hidden/Shockwave1.jpg

What do you mean the trains aren't "trailered"?

All coaster trains are attached.

Typically when a coaster train is involved in an accident, they will remove the whole train for legal reasons. They would have to have brought in a crane to remove the first two cars, why would they not have taken the rest of the train at the same time? I guess they want to pay twice as much. Aside from the legal issue, maintanence would inspect the whole train, inside and out. During the offseason they strip the trains down to ensure everything is working and replace any worn or damaged parts. This type of inspection cannot be performed with the train on the track. The accident is still just a rumor, as is this coasters demise. When I hear it from Six Flags, I will believe it, just like I waited for Paramount to confirm the Top Gun accident.

I saw this happen too. It did happen. If you don't want to believe it, i suppose i understand. I don't know anything about maintenence procedures, but what Nick G. described was accurate.

I didn't say anything before because a) i was going to include it in a TR, which i never got around too. And b) I didn't think it was all that important that a ride broke down. I didn't see the importance until this whole thing about Shockwave being removed instead of Whizzer came about. Maybe this is the reason, or part of it. Or maybe not. The only people who know are the people who run the park.

How 'bout I make this straight for you. Trailered means the cars have no front wheels, just back wheels, and the next cars back wheel act as the car before's front.

I thought those were called articulated trains..?

Arrow cars have front wheels...they don't have rear wheels.

While Arrow trains do have the "extra" set of wheels in the back of the train, B&M's have theirs in the front.

Oh, yah, your right!

And then B&M has rear wheels and no front, right?

You can see a good example of a typical B&M car here:
