I rode X !!

A history maker! Among the other people who were in the first train of X on 12-24-01!!

I drove down from Sacramento this morning to be among the first to ride and just got home.  Was 6 hours of driving each way worth the 2 rides I got?  YES AND YES. One YES for the front and one YES for the back! This ride is unbelievable.  Smooth, sleek, fast and truly amazing.  It's been 8 hours since I was on it and I am ready to drive back the day after Christmas for another dose.  Get to this ride people, and make it quick!

Fred at Arrow has another winner. Time to buy more stuff at the store. Wear it proudly. Nothing like an American made ride.

Oh, I wanna go to L.A. so bad!!! X sounds like it is as good as it looks! I don't mean to compare, but I wanna know just how good it is. For the people that rode X: Is it your #1? Is it in the top 5? Top 10? People are saying it's great, but I want to know how great. I mean, Cyclops at Indiana Beach was great, IMO, but I wouldn't travel 4,000 miles to ride it. Phantom's Revenge on the other hand is GREAT and I might travel 4,000 miles to ride it.

It's a top 5 steel coaster in my book. I still like Intamin hypercoasters better, and it needs to be a bit longer to qualify as a true #1, and I must admit part of the fun was experiencing Arrow sticking it to the naysayers and doubters. That said, it IS a great ride and worthy of *most* of it's staggering hype. I don't know if I would travel great distances just to ride it, but if you throw in Goliath, Riddler's Revenge and Deja Vu, then you might be talkin'. I would like to get a few more rides on it before completely making up my mind. :)

Ride the New England Bush!

Are you kidding spacease8310!!!!! X is the GREATEST RC ever to set foot on this planet. Earth should be honored and privilidged to have X even sitting on it. There is nothing else like it. Its the latest and the greatest of all RC's and its the #1 coaster of my life. Its seriously gona be hard to beat this one. They have to come up with something really insanely crazy to beat X.

VERY LOUD. But it VERY much makes the ride more intimidating. A loud clacking sound. It's a good way to make heads turn towards its direction.

Is X my #1?  Well I don't rank steel coasters by number.  I have a favorite [SFNE's Superman] that tops a list of maybe a dozen or so that I always enjoy riding.  On that list are coasters as varied as Montezooma, Batman The Ride, SUE, Medusa West, SFA's Superman, and Hershey's Mouse just to name a few.  X most definitely makes that list but until I get a few more rides on it Superman will remain my favorite.

X is WAAAAY up in #1, by far....distanly followed by Riddler's and Deja Vu.
