I need some DRAGSTER information

When will Dragster be opening? Will they have it ready for CP's opening day? I read somewhere on the net that it won't be ready. Anyone have info. on this?

I believe that this ride will provide excellent rollercoastering.

IIRC, it was one of the two S:UF's that was supposed to be *slightly* delayed....all things considered re: Dragster, I'd be surprised if it was delayed, but even more surprised if
the Xcelerator *issues* have ALL been completely ironed out....

I sincerley HOPE it runs flawlessly from opening day on....based solely on Xcel, I seriously doubt it...

Isn't Dragster supposed to use a different type of computer for launching, so it won't be the same as Xcel?

Actually, Xcelerator was the first to use the hydraulic launch (am I correct?), and Top Thrill Dragster is the second.

Yesterday's loser bore a strong resemblence to that old Inedible Hilk troll. He has a scary facination with me. Always wondered if it was CPNUT since I busted him so many times.

OK...back to the topic at hand. Hasn't SOB, Deja Vu, X, Superman The Escape, Volcano, Hypersonic, and Xcelerator and countless others taught us all that we can't count on a new coaster to be ready when they park claims [or hopes] it to be?

Best bet: wait until it seems to be running reliably before travelling a great distance to ride it.

Back on topic. I don't think you can count MF on that list. It was ready opening day, and had only one day the whole 1st season when it didn't open.

Anyway, I'm about 98.9 percent sure Dragster will be running opening day. It's amazing how well new coasters run when the *media* is hanging around the park. ;)

Now it's the very next day I'd be worried about.
