I Love Coastermania!

This was my first Coastermania (first coaster event as a matter of fact!) and it was everything I expected and much, much more :)
I dragged my neice along since she likes coasters. We came down the night before so we would be fresh for Coastermania! woo-hoo!
Got to the park a little after 8am and went straight to Raptor. Waited about 15 minutes. Saw alot of ACE and Coaster Zombies (was pretty sure it was Sam Marks). I am pretty sure I saw Jeremy too (2Hostyl) but didn't get a chance to chat. Thought I would see him later but didn't--what happened to you Jeremy??? Great ride on Raptor. My neice really likes this coaster too.
We went back to Mantis and had no wait! I don't remember this much headbanging last year? What was up with that?! Emily had a headache from it too so we went back to Blue Streak. It was really flying after the morning rain! Waited about 15 minutes for this.
Then went back to Raptor and it was just about a walk on! Rode two more times (too lazy to wait for the front).
By now it was close to 10am. We went back to MF to get in line for it before the GP stormed the park. Waited about 45 minutes for our first ride on MF. WE GOT THE FRONT ROW!!! How lucky was that? And the front row was sweeter than I could have imagined! MF is my favorite coaster by far!
We then went a did Disaster Transport. I had forgotten what a fun ride this is! I know people 'dis it but I really enjoyed the ride on this. Had to wait about 15 minutes. Went on the Space Spiral while over that way too. We went back and did Gemini and Magnum as well. Hardly any wait for either ride! Gemini was a great ride! I had almost forgotten how good that first drop on it is. Magnum was good as ever but I don't remember the lap bars being so restrictive! Were they always like this and I didn't notice? Why don't they stay up instead of falling on your lap and killing the airtime (and making for a painful ride as well)?
We went over to the pavillion to get our free food a little after 2pm. I don't eat meat so I just had beans and chips and ice cream :) Some people were taking ALOT of food! I hope they didn't run out of food for people that got there late!
We were both pretty tired so my neice thought my idea of taking a nap in the afternoon (which she originally dismissed as being stupid) was a pretty good on after all. We went back to our crappy (but cheap!) room at the Travellodge and slept for 2 hours. Picked up some fast food on the way back and were in the park by 5:30!
Neice wanted to do the down side of Power Tower. I had always been too 'scared" for this but figured what the hell. Only had to wait about 10 minutes for it! It wasn't too bad but I like the Space Shot side better :) We did that later with about a 15 minute wait. I was surpised and how short the waits were all day. Seemed like there was alot of kids there on school trips but the lines weren't as bad as I had anticipated. Seems like the long waits were for food/beverages. I swear the food service every place we went was sooooooooo slow! What is up with that?
We went on Iron Dragon (waited for the front) and Wild Cat and another ride on Gemini and Disaster Transport. It was almost closing time so we headed back to MF where there was already a line starting. Decided that there might not be a line at Magnum (what the hell was I thinking??). Went over the Magnum to a long line :( But it went quick when at 8:30 they started the ride up for ERT. CP did a GREAT job with getting Magnum and MF out QUICK! We did two rides on Magnum and ate alot of Muffleheads :) Then went over to MF.
It was a little after 9 and got in line for ERT on MF. We waited about 30 minutes for a ride on it. I had never ridden MF in the dark so it was a new experience for me! Especially cool cuz I had my sunglasses on (to protect my contacts from flying out!). We ended up getting 4 ERT rides on MF! Some waits were only 15 minutes!
On one of the rides (either the last or second to the last), the train stopped going up the lift hill and that freaked alot of people out, including my neice! I thought it was pretty sweet. When it started back up a few seconds later it was making a weird noise. I thought that kinda added a 'power tower' element to the ride! hahahahahahah I could go on MF for 10 hours straight and never grow tired of ths ride! All 5 rides on it I was able to keep my lap bar and seat belt very loose so I was just hanging going down that first hill! That has to be the best feeling in the world!!! It was really weird to do it in the dark as well.
I thought all of the people at Coastermania seemed really cool and like a great group of people. Coastermania was better than I had ever expected and can't wait til next year!!! CP did a great job! Sorry if this TR was long and pointless! ;) Thanks for reading :)

Wow! Catherine you made me want to really go to Coastermania next year! I am sorry I couldn't make it this year. Next year will be fun!!!
Catherine: I was there the whole time. Well except I took a quick nap around 5:20-6:00. Other than that, I was around. I wished you would have said hello. I am always up to meeting new folks. BTW: Where did you see me? Better Question: Why do you think it was me :).

Catherine-already know from GTTP you at least saw my partner in crime (Hooper) and some other of my buds and I on MF line! We were all STILL going strong and it was the last train of the night! Coastermania ROCKED!! This years SOO much better than last years!! :) :) :)
