I have a chance....

I have a chance to get any TV show for free from TLC, Discovery, History Channel, and all the learning channels, etc etc.

I was wondering, if you guys had the chance, what shows would you get?

I dont know all the coaster show names, so if you guys could list them that would be great.

Also, if there is anything else technology or engineering related or anything else that peaks your interest, tell me about it.

I really dont know what to get and this is like a once in a life time deal. And whoever helps me out the most will get a free video from any of the stations.....your choice.

Thanks in advance,

Lee

"World's Largest Amusement Park," the Cedar Point special, would be my pick. The video version includes a peek inside the Planning and Development office, which did not air on television. You also get to see Cedar Fair CEO Dick Kinzel pick up some trash.

Why don't I believe you? I'm having problems just reading your post let alone understanding what you're saying.

164 and counting...

I don't know what exacty your talking about, but the best show on Discovery is "Monster Garage." That's just my opinion though.

What I am asking is......1-what are the names of the coaster series so i can get them

and 2- What other shows would you get on there if you had the chance

In other words, the stations are giving me tapes of anything i want. And I will give the person that can tell me all the roller coaster shows, a video of there choice.

Cedar Fair executives picking up trash with their bare hands is quite common, I see it all the time here at knotts. my principal does it too, picking up fish heads and such.....

So do you get as many videos as you'd like. I liked extreme rides 2002 and top ten 2002.

Speedy,

Yes, I do get as many videos as i like. Just lucky and quite blessed that my dad is in charge of Eli Lilly's advertising money and the channels want to do a little kissing up to get that money.

Wow, if I had to choose, well, does that include Travel Channel? I liked the special on Inside Universal Studios and Inside Seaworld. Also the Inside Busch Gardens one was really good. I was amazed in that one how much food the park goes through in a day. Also rans are the Top Ten Coasters specials for each year and the Euro Coaster Kings special.

Animal planet and the travel channel are Discovery Channel Channels.
As is TLC.

Coming in 2003-The Spawn Of Magnum!

Yes. I was just adding onto SidewinderCSC's original list.

Discovery refers to their coasters specials as Thrills, Chills and Spills. The individual titles include

(More) Top Ten Coasters

Extreme Rides (followed by year)

Wild Rides

They also have had specials on specific parks like Cedar Point, Sea World FL, Universal, Disney, etc.

Lori - who hopes Koaster King is reading. ;)

Then theres Thrills Chills and Spills1,2,3,etc.

Don't forget making of a coaster,it's got some great construction & design footage of both Hp's Lightning Racer & Nagashima Spaland's SD2K.

It was one of my favorites of 2001 & after seeing LR's construction I've sort of fallen in love with the design, now if only I can get out to HP to ride it.
