I hate theming

It seems like I'm the only one here who doesn't get into the theming part of the game.

When I play, I turn off the research for the theming immediately.  I never use any sort of decorations aside from trees and flowers (and sometimes fences).  My coasters have tunnels, but never any themes.  Heck, I don't even name my rides (Roller Coaster 3).  I just like to focus on building as many rides as possible, and the best coasters.

Anyone else in my boat?

You can't spell "dishonorable" without "honorable."

I can never seem to get the theming and scenery right in my parks.I tend to use just the trees that are there in the beginning of the scenerio rather than just place theme items here and there but I would like to be able to design my parks with good scenery & theming.I seem to do better when using the western theme or possibly theegyptian theme when designing the parks and coasters but I mostly use a more nuetral theme most of the time so it's not a question of disliking the theming in RCT but rather not being able to use it to the utmost advantage and ability.

What I like to do is do alot of my theming with land and some of the existing paths and fences.  I can make some really cool ride buildings by raising some land, using some fences and a few other limited theming options.

As far as general theming goes though, I tend to only theme in non scenario games unless I have already met my goal and I need to pad my park rating.  Otherwise I only theme for trainered parks that i am either creating a replica park or a original park design of my own.  Then I go nuts.

I can never finish a park... I always build awesome coasters and everything, but I never finish and build paths and open it.
Well, You can always pretend that you're a Six Flags Park;)

I never theme either. Every time I do, it winds up looking really bad.

I'm still working on the missions, so I almost never theme.  I'm just working on getting through the scenarios, rather than making my parks look nice.  Maybe when I start to play to make nice looking parks (after I beat all the missions) I'll theme more.

The legend lives!

None of the theming that comes with the game interests me.  I don't count trees and flowers as theming... so pretty much my parks look like they're in the woods, like many parks out there.

I don't ever add the themes. I like to make the most bizarre twisted creations that the peeps will ride. I might get around to themeing sometime. For now it's time to be twisted.  :)

Beer, My Baby, and Coasters, AND FREEDOM!! Is this a great country or what? ;)

Well I usually add trees to coasters etc, Like I made a 13,000 wood out and back and spent 17,000 on adding trees, it makes the ride a lot more excting and more intense. And it definitly looks awsome, but thats my opinion, i always make my parks like family parks, full of trees, flowers, and theming!

Out of the coasters i've ridden here is what I rank them overall:(ive been to canobie lake and SFNE)
1. S:RoS 2. Yankee Cannonball 3. Riverside Cyclone 4. Canobie
Corkscrew 5. Thunderbolt 6. Galaxy 7. Mind Eraser 8. Dragon coaster 9. poison ivy's tangl
Personally roller coasters and other rides to me are the theming.  The rides give you the theme of being in an amusement park.

This is the way I see it. If you add minimal or no theming, then you have built an amusement park. However, if you utilize a lot of theming, and make distinct different sections in the park you have constructed a theme park. Either way, it's all good! :)

Sept. 11th 2001, Slayer released God Hates Us All. The song "Disciple" uncannily describes the events of that day, as well as the anthrax letters that followed.

When it comes to theming I take the Six Flags approach. (;)) I pick a theme which requires little or no theming at all. Like Batman, or Superman. If I do happen to theme a ride it's just the station, then I just add trees.
