HypersonicXLC Update - 4/27

i went to PKD yesterday(saturday, 4/27). i kept a lookout all day, as me and my friend were in the ricochet/hurler area because FoF and volcano waits were at 2+ hrs all day long. even hurler had a wait(im not sure if it was because it was saturday, or maybe it was because prices on season passes are supposed to go up). anyway....

there were people in hypersonic's station, and a train was on the track during some points of the day. in the morning it was on. but was removed later. then put back on. there was air-flow near the launching area, and in the air tanks on the tower(if that means anything good). also, the seats on the trains look higher than the ones before and the front end is smaller/lower than the one before.

Same here joe I am going in late July.
oh yea...the train was only near the station...it was never launched through the course. but atleast its on the track...probably not as much work needed to be done to the train now.

Sounds great,I hope anyone going to PKD will keep us posted.
I'll be there Mother's Day weekend, hopefully NO 2 hour lines all day, but.....I'm not expecting to get to ride her again, then, BUT I did have a dream the other night that H:XLC was open & running people, only I couldn't find the line. It was a NIGHTMARE, I didn't even have a strap for my glasses.

Oh, well, I hope they get the thing running tight, even if I have to wait months, it really is worth it, especially if it operates under any kind of normal circumstances.

i have a season pass to the park, so ill keep you all posted with whatever isnt already posted.
Thanks did anyone else hear it will be open for Memorial Day. What are the chances for last week in July.
I was at PKD Today (The 28th) and the Hypersonic train was ON the track in the station. Only one to be seen. There was a mechanic working on the train, with the wheels it appeared from the Grizzly line. That's all I saw.

I also heard it should be open before Memorial Day.

speedfreak, thats the same thing i saw yesterday(4/27). how were the lines today? they were REALLY long all day yesterday.
Great can't wait to see it in action.
Man they new front on hyper sonic is the pimpest mess. And for the 2003 season they are getting all new trains. The ones u saw are temporary ones.
YO!!!!! where were you?
I would like to see proof that these are "temporary" trains. So far that's just a rumor as far as I know. I can't believe they would spend so much money on just fixing the trains temporarily!
