Hypersonic/Drop Zone update

I went to PKD yesterday(10/27):

Hypersonic: The launch is not loud like it used to be. You hardly hear anything when it launches now! The huge gust of air that is released right after the launch is no longer released at the end of the launch track. It is released at the other end away from the guests. I guess people complained? Or maybe even the park thought it was a little too loud. They had both stations open and were running 3 trains. 0 down time as well. Way to go PKD!

Drop Zone: They have 15ft. of the tower constructed. There is a crane at the sight now. It's about 100ft. I so can't wait for this ride!

How tall is it supposed to be?

It's gonna be 305 ft when it's topped off, this isn't much of an update on DZ's progress though because I've known about it for at least a week or two.

Now once it get's up to say 200-250 ft then we'll really have something to talk about.

Let me also add that the pole is alot "skinner" than I thought it was going to be. I figured since the ring seated 52-people that the circumference of the tower would be greater.

I can't wait to see the pics, let alone ride this behemoth.

As is I totally missed Ricochet this year,oh well I guess there's always next year to ride it.
