Hypersonic XLC updates.

Does anyone have any updates on Hypersonic XLC. Is it still just testing?

I was there last Wednesday and they were just cycling two trains. By the end of the day they put on a third train. It was torture seeing the ride cycle every minute and a half :(.

Proud to be Arrow DYNAMIC!

I was there saturday. They tested hundreds of times, but it was still closed all day.

Water dummies on 1 out of 4 trains, and no trains had headrests yet.

Does anyone know of any opening date because it's going to be my hundredth coaster if it opens. I'm at 83.

June 14th

Thatss my date of opening. the weekend of the 14th

If its not up by then, f*ck PKD and S&S power.

Gee, nice attitude. The ride will run when it's ready, and not before. End of story.

I live an hour and 15 minutes from PKD, ill be there this sunday, so I'll let everyone know if its up and running, or what park officials say about it or what not. I got to ride it nearly every trip to the park last summer, i can assure you its probably the most intense ride ive ever been on, of course i have yet to ride X, thatll be in August when i go to Cali :) Ill let everybody know something on sunday night !

I'll be at the park this Monday and I'll get to talk with an official from the park, so I should have a tentative opening date.

One thing though, he DID say that Hypersonic should have been open on the weekend of June 1 ... so maybe they just need more time. Who knows.

We were there all day Saturday (6/8). The signs and announcements about Hypersonic being closed were still posted. Most of the day we did not notice any testing going on. You could see the new train from the grizzly platform. At about 9:30 pm, they started actively testing.

OK, XLC was closed today, while i was there. I saw 3 trains cycling, one without headrests, one with headrests, and one with waterbottles and headrests ( i think ). I have a friend in high places there, no tentative date as to when XLC will open, but like someone else said, they were hoping for june 1st, i guess that fell through :(

water bottles? i think you meant water dummies : )
LOL yeah yeah yeah, water dummies, sorry, its late and i havent long been home, im tired .
Wow! so the waterdummies, sitting on the headrests were drinking from water bottles?
They are probably only testing after 9:30 pm on weekends to keep the crowds from getting too upset - it's a shame that they can't get their newest and most intense ride open for the crowds by June 1 - its the ride the stands out the most from the parking lot, and so I'm sure that people when entering the park are getting their hopes up about riding it, and it was all over the advertisements last year.
Yeah, my hopes, LOL.
They could give me a couple more free parking passes or something! Just kidding, don't expect anything from them.
Would be nice to get some H:XLC in, though.
At least they announce it's closed very, very well. Last season, we went & it said H:XLC was closed, but after we waited in a line for about an hour & they told us we wouldn't ride, it was opened. The signs are clearly posted in the lot when youm enter.
Got to say, PKD seems fine without it, but it being open will be a huge plus. The crowd will be split between two really slow moving lines, instead of just on Volcano. That will be good, IM:).

WEll we should have an announcement this week or next on the new ride for next year. I can confirm the ytook out Scrambler today in preperation for a new Ride. scrambler was a cheao little small ride that you see at carnivals. I work there and have ideas to what will be put in, but ill wait for an offiical comment from the park.

As FOr Hypersonic, it still has the sae problems as last year, and im not expecting anything till july 1st now.
