Hypersonic XLC

Any progress updates of the ride reprofile and opening dates?

The ride is featured prominently in their new ads, so I would think they intend on reopening it this year.

The word "definitely" is definitely the most misspelled word on the buzz.
They've made it a point to make it obvious that H:XLC may be down while you're there. Don't plan around the Hypersonic:(.

What is the reprofile mentioned? I found it very strange last year that I was even riding that thing. They allowed more test runs(that did not look very successful) than real runs, told us it was closed, yet they allowed us to stay in line, they allowed us to ride, & nobody ever acted like they even had a clue as to what the problems were.

Are there problems like this in Japan? XLC is incredible, it'd be a waste.......

I doubt there are that many problems with Dodonpa. S&S probably worked out some bugs in the TA2K and Dodonpa might be doing well. Have you noticed the tower on it? It's not as pointed at XLC's, so Dodonpa will probably not have the same problem as XLC with the ride tearing itself apart. They're probably going to make the slope on the peak of the tower more gradual.

I was asked to describe X in one word. The word? -- OhmygoshwhathaveIgottenmyselfintothisisthescariest

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will be opened by the time I get there...I'm planning on being there on June 5th.

Ridden 73 coasters so far. 24 were wood.
Plan on having over 100 in June. Wish me luck.
