Hypersonic Seats

I know topics like this have been beat down with a stick, but I have not been to PKD since they changed the trains on Hypersonic and I was not able to ride it then (issues :)). I would like to know are the seats large rider friendly?

I think they're pretty big... And if I remember right, the restraints have a lot of room. I just don't know how the ride ops discriminate the amount of room needed.

I think they accomodate larger riders ok, but don't base your trip on me.

The seats are pretty roomy, however, like J Bird, I'm not quite certain on how snugly one must fit before being asked to leave.

I did see one larger rider get denied a ride, but I don't remember how big she was... so, I'm quite a lot of help, huh?

I think the problem is getting the seatbelt as they are fairly short and at an angle. Haven't been to PKD since 2002 though.
Goliathkills is right. If that belt won't click, you will not be able to ride.
I have seen a rider get denied who wasn't really big, but obviously built (muscular).

The biggest factor seem to be the size of your legs.

I have a larger friend who went on the new seats with mine. He fit, but barely. The ride ops arn't stapling as much as they used to. I'm a 33 waist and I fit with lots of room, so judge accordingly.

The original trains for H:XLC were built by Interactive Rides, correct? The same company made famous by *the Hershey debacle* and Insanity @ Strat...

Did they change out the TRAINS, or just the restraints....

I rode H:XLC the week after the seats were changed, and they were pretty roomy (although I was only 11 or 12 then).
