Hypersonic Propulsion Question

I know that Hypersonic uses compressed air to power the ride but what physically attaches to the ride that causes it to move? Is it some kind of cable or catapult?

I think that it runs the same as the shuttle loop coasters made famous by swartzkophf ( i think i spelled the name wrong...DUH).. By means of using a " pusher" that is connected to the cablesthat are in turn connected to the pistons in the air tubing.. someone correct me if i'm wrong?... I believe this ride runs the same as the tower rides they make..;)

I think that sounds right. On the TLC Coaster show they said that it was the same technology used in their freefall attractions.
Ahh... so it's a pushing, not a pulling.

The problem with Air Launch is that it takes forever for it to refill with air. I was there today and it took forever for the next train to be launched.

Its a little shuttle boost carries the Train at the bottom of it. Unfortunatly, we didn't get to ride since it broke down! :(
