HyperSonic AT PKD opening SOON!!

Hello

I work at PKD and have noticed things over the weeks and after takling to people. I can pretty much say Hypersonic will open within 2 weeks time. Recently they have been testing the ride only at night and not during the day, but when they tested it, it was in rapid succession, one train after another. Then last week they actaully closed that part of the park down, to bring a crane in and add something to the top of the hill. rarely so the do that during park hours, so its a sign they want it opened soon. Then the testings continued, and they have started cleaning that area up. Now we have commercials playing in the area that advertise people riding the ride. ALso they have updated the comments on the wesbite.

But the big news is, TODAY they launched all 3 trains without water dummies, and the trains were fully built, with lap, and head resrtaints all in place. no dumb cages. so basically they spent all last week finishing the trains and getting it ready and today they showed the nice trains launching to the public.

My guess is the ride will open at earliest Monday and at the lastest July 4th weekend. This is the first week with all schools out and it would be great for them to open it now.

So take this as you want, just letting you know what i can about the ride

Thats awesome news to hear. I am making my first trip to the park in mid-July and i was looking forward to it being open. Im glad to hear it just might.
That is very nice to hear. This is good news for PKD and PKD fans. I hope I get to visit the park soon.
Cool, time for a *real* extreme launch.

At least I'll get to see her almost open, since we'll be there on Monday. If it's open, cool, if not, I can't complain. I'll just go back again later.

Actually, I wasn't counting on anything at all for a while. After seeing it in operation last season, it was obvious there were problems. Seeing it listed as closed on their site, I almost wasn't expecting anything this year, LOL. I was excited seeing her test over Mother's Day;), impressive ride.
