Why does hypersonic appear to be higher and straighter, or is it just me???

It even appears like it fro this view

the dodonpa one is much wider, and the transition at the top is not as sudden... that could be because it's going almost 27 MPH faster.
I've seen both in person (I took the Dodonpa pic).  Hypersonic is much narrower and has a tighter crest.  After seeing Dodonpa run it's circuit on video it takes the top of that hill much faster than Hypersonic does.  I bet it has fewer rollbacks.  (Especially after reading about how S&S ironed out the kinks on it)

It's not just you, unlike Hypersonic, Dodonpa would have a harder time dealing with rollbacks, so the transition at the top of the tower was widened.  I read in a magazine (but I forget which one, I was in a book store) that Hypersonic was designed to have rollbacks more frequently than most coasters, adding the fear that something went wrong, when it's really totally normal.

Peabody-Where'd you see Dodonpa in action?  Is there a video somewhere?

Thanks for the plug Cali, but we work on the site together. (Just wanted to give Peabody a little grief!)

Besides, I have been on more coasters that Peabody has!
