Hypersonic

Just quite suprised that it's not raved about much as people hyped it up a lot. Has anyone been on it and what do you think??
I feel the exact same way from reading the messages. Haven't been there yet.

It was raved about. Everyone who has ridden it says it's great, I'm sure it is.
The problem is they're only running 1 train, has breakdowns, the wait times are long, and the ride ops can't give an accurate estimate of the queue wait. This offsets the excitement of the ride. Plus they've only been open on the weekends, which won't change until June. Can you believe that? They have one of the most anticipated rides in the land and do nothing special to show they care. Well, now I don't care. I was going to fly up there in June, but after reading all the negative reports, I've changed my mind.

I think we need to go back to being sheep like the general public. If we see construction at the park, then maybe NEXT year the ride will be ready. If it's ready this year, then wow, they did a great job.

Hey, I heard they're building this new coaster in California, called X, it's gonna be ready NEXT year.
Search for Hypersonic, and check the trip reports. You will find nothing but glowing praise for the ride, despite the long lines.

The last time I was there and rode it, they were running two trains. It is frustrating having to wait through breakdowns, but the ride ops they have on it are super great, and the park is really trying hard to make up for inconveniences.

Don't count it out totally...maybe wait until next year when all the bugs are worked out...because if you can get to ride it, all of the negativity you may experience while waiting for it will vanish because most people get off of Hypersonic saying, "This was so worth it!".

Lorrie - Who after one ride is totally at the mercy of H:XLC and believes it can do no wrong.:)
They only ran 1 train on media day and park opening. It always runs 2 trains now. I saw them test with 3 when the parkk was closing, but it is pointless even now since the rideops stack the freakin station up. But they will get better, by middle of may, exspect both stations to work. Yeah XLC has 2 loading area, and unlike though the second loading area is not fastpass, the exit is. So with 4 cars 2 loading areas and effiecint running a hour should be max, but DO not expect this until the park opens 7 days a week.
