Not to rain on mOOSH's parade, but that is not the correct inversion order.

Thanks for playing, though! ;)

Air and Oblivion also have no vertical loops.

Schwarzkopf shuttle loops...The most possible fun in 36 seconds.

I can answer my own question about Raptor's colors being Hydra's colors.

Raptor:

Hydra:

It's a match!

Joe: Not the right order? I hope the station has some quick booster wheels or something. Eeeks.

The Incredible Hulk has a corkscrew before its second vertical loop, Andy.

Hi everyone, just writing to tell you what's new with Hydra today. i got to go to dorney with my friends today and watched some construction. it looks like the bottom of the lift is built with the supports, track and chain motor in place, and they even have the start of the walkway for the lift built too as well as the start of the chute the chain goes back to the bottom in. it is really cool to watch them build it, with the huge crane lifting stuff around and the builders attaching piece by piece. again, sorry no pictures but hopefully my descriptions are somewhat interesting.

till next time, danny

Welll that's possible. Perhaps either the park or B&M felt the flatspin prior to the cobra roll was going to be too intense? It certainly seemed like odd placement to me.

Unless it was a huge flatspin-I think that'd be rad seeing as that it'd be somewhat of an innovation. (a huge flatspin..like the size of a vertical loop?)

Knowing the source, I'm certainly not putting any credibility to this, but it's interesting to think about. Screamscape has a new rumor on there about the possibility of Hydra have nine inversions, since Hydra had nine heads.

Like I said before, consider the source. I'm not sure that sounds very likely personally, but I wondered what the rest of you thought. That would certainly be quite something.

(P.S. Haven't we already been told how many inversions it has? And I don't recall it being that many.)

In a nutshell the inversion order is Inclined Dive Loop, Zero-G, Flat Spin, Cobra Roll, Flat Spin

Hmmm, now this DOES sound like six....I don't know a DARN thing about Hydra save for the mythological connection, but I *can* count to six...unless Cobra rolls gained or lost an inversion since I last checked...

Since you said the ORDER was incorrect THEN, I *assume* it was the correct LIST of inversions....

Wassup Joe? ;)
Or should we just wait until the thing is BUILT? ;)

I personally am starting to think that there might be eight or nine inversions on this ride. Given the inversion list we already have, which is wrong, lets place a small flatspin before the lift adding one more. Then, to help solve the "oversized flatspin" issue before the cobra roll, maybe the park is getting really twisted and placing a sea serpent inversion in this spot. That would add another inversion for a total of eight, the last one I don't have any clue how they could put it in.

Hi everyone! i was on the way to my friend's house this morning (where i'm at now), and my mom and i drove past dorney to get there, and they have the top of the lift up on hydra! i know it has to be the top because they have an american flag hanging from it. not very tall... it must go down a hill or something. anyway, if anyone lives nearby, go take a drive by it and see!

That's all for now, -Danny

Danny - Hydra does not go down the same hill as Herc. And you're right...it's not tall, only about 100 feet.
