Huss Jump 2

I thought this ride looked really interesting while I was looking on the Huss website and I tried to load the video of what it does and it won't load so could someone please explain to me what this ride is and what is does and if one has ever been built which I don't think has happened that would be great.

Top 3: 1. Top Thrill Dragster 2. Millennium Force 3. Magnum XL200

Also why in the picture of the Derlirium does it have like four arms. Is this different from PKI's because it certainly didn't have four arms and looked completely different from that picture. The Giant Frissbee actually resembled Derlirium more.

I believe there is one at PCW. As for the video, I can download it just fine.

Another thing, you can edit your post so you dont have post again. And the Huss Delirium is not Delirium at PKI. They're different.

Canada's Wonderland's Sledgehammer is the only operating Jump^2 in the world.

It's like a regular Jump, but bigger, and with an "inverted" seating arrangement, meaning each cluster has no floor.

The only "operating*" Jump in North America is at Great Adventure.

Your logic is strong, Mr. Spock. It's because Delirium at PKI is a Giant Frisbee.

There are currently only two Giant rides in operation- a Giant Topspin and a Giant Frisbee and both are at PKI.

[Edit: Whoops... didn't realize a Jump2 was a Giant ride]

The only operating* jump in AMERICA, presumably? In Germany on the fair circuit they're as common as muck.

* - I also use the term loosely

There's a video of Sledgehammer at PCW over at www.coasters2k.com

It IS as bad as you think, and they ARE out to get you.

Well, I don't consider PCW's Sledgehammer to be a Jump. It's a Jump^2. In either case, there are only one of each in North America.

In Germany, sure, the Jump is all over the place, but they're still rare and exotic here.

About the confusion on the name "Delirium" . . .
PKI's "Delirium" is a Huss Giant Frisbee. Huss also offers another giant ride -- Delirium. The Huss Giant Frisbee and Huss Delirium are two unique rides, with the one having four swinging arms that was mentioned being the Huss Delirium -- not PKI's Delirium. Got that? There haven't been any installations of the Huss Delirium yet. The thing appears to be monstrous, though.

Sorry - I missed that you said "operating in North America", hence I tried correcting you as I thought you meant in the world. I even quoted it in my post! Oops - sorry about that.
And for those keeping score, Great Adventure's Jump is a portable ride. It's supposed to be called "Jumping Jack Flash" according to the park map, but the signage around the ride says "Freefall". If it's open, I highly recommend a ride on one of the scariest flats I've been on, and I've been on a lot (still missing the Topscan and Tango though). From the ground it looks like the arms jumping up would be the scary part, but it's actually the spinning around at the top that freaks you out.

If you have a problem with clones, the solution is real simple—Stop traveling.
I think the Jump's elusiveness makes it more exciting than the Top Scan, even though you don't find one those on every street corner, either. It just so happens that my street corner has one, of course, and I've ridden it a whole ton of times. . .versus, maybe, a half a dozen rides on the Huss Jump.

Possibly superior to each of them is the equally illusive Zamperla Windshear/Soriani and Moser Super Loop on Top. They make a Top Spin look like a kiddie ride.

The next Huss Jump2 will be at SFWOA ....04 ok maybe not..but i can dream can't I?.....If all goes well Texas Twister and Silver Bullet will be relocated and a new SledgeHammer makes its way to SFWOA!
Why download the Huss animation when you can download the real thing at my site? Sledgehammer video direct link is available at the bottom of my home page www.pcwjunkies.com . If you would also like to get a peak at PCW's Awesome Foursome in one video check out the "Get Loose" video which features:
1) Cliffhanger - Mondial Splash Over
2)Shockwave - Mondail Topscan
3)Psyclone - Mondial Revolution
4)Sledge Hammer - Huss Jump2

Here is a little know fact that I picked up. The hydraulics that run Sledge Hammer are more powerful than the ones that run CP's TTD. Believe it or Not.

Kevin Reid
