Huss giants

What are they? I have heard a lot about them. Anbody have pictures? How much do they cost and are they really giant?
Just surf on by http://www.hussrides.com/30GiantRides.htm and take a look for yourself. Personally, I'd love to see someone put in a Jump 2 or an entire "Land of the Giants" section...they all look like top notch fun.

The bigger question is, has one been installed anywhere? (Keeping in mind that we don't officially know anything about a certain ride near Cincinnati.)

I thought they confirmed that one of the new rides at Canadas wonderland was a Giant huss Frisbee.

These things look awesome... I wish parks would add more of these flat rides..

Actually, T-Wolf...

The "Frisbee" or Psychlone that's so be going up at Canada's Wonderland is made by Mondail, not by Huss as many suspect... the same folks who brought them the Cliffhanger (which looks like a Huss Top Spin, but is a Mondail Top Scan) in 2000, and the Shockwave in 2001... notice a pattern?

That would be spelled Mondial, Bro :D

Moreover, the Mondial ride that looks like a HUSS topspin is actually called a "SplashOver". The Mondial Top Scan is a whole 'nother animal entirely (as anyone who has ever ridden, or even seen, one will tell you)

Cliffhanger @ Lagoon, a Mondial Splashover, was/is a REJECT! As some Managers said this past summer, "I'm about ready to box it up and ship it back!" A ride that only operates ONE DAY out of the ENTIRE Season without closing down due to mechanical difficulties, is a POS. I just hope the guys at Lagoon can teach Clifford: The Big Red Ride some new tricks for the 2002 season. He's a REAL master at Playing DEAD!

PCW's Mondial Splash-Over also had some probs last season...apparently the "holding" brakes for the gondolas weren't working properly so they couldn't program it to do as many tricks (ala locking one of the gondolas upside down facing the other) and the ride suffered for it.

The Top Scan though, OMG, I've never been on anything so insane and I'm really looking forward to their prototype super Frisbee next season. PCW is rapidly becoming one of *the* major parks (along with SFGAdv) for great flat rides...now all they need is an Intamin Steel Twister along with a Jump 2 and the park'd be perfect IMO! :-)
