Yeah, it's at SFNE.  and it's not as amazing as you would think.  The restraints will smoosh you, unless you're like the prefect body type for the ride (fortunately I am).  Also, the g's are your face are much, much more uncomfortable than the X-Flight ride.  Imagine X-Flight's loop over and over again but added stress on your face at the bottom.  It is an unique ride buy I usually only do it once or not even that when I'm at the park.

sigh, SFNE goes "tiny" for 2001
Ah, the Fly Away. I rode that one at IAAPA '99 down in Georgia. Basically a lay-down Enterprise. The one good thing about it is that it's the only lay flat ride that has automated simultaneous loading for all seats. But the "seat" locking mechanism is dodgy, the design has more in common with a waffle iron than with a more typical amusement ride, and once secured, your vision is absolutely constrained: you can see out perpendicular to the wheel. The result is a ride that is not a particularly pleasant experience. Though less dramatic in implementation, the Zamperla Kite Flyer and the Dartron Cliff Hanger are much nicer rides.

I've been on one of these at a carnival. The restaints weren't much but I thought it was fun. Then again, the restraints didn't even touch your body.

CHOCOLATE STARFISH, I presume you are referring to either the Kite Flyer or the Cliff Hanger?

RideMan, perfect way of putting it.

I agree 100%.

I agree also. It looked like a sweet ride, and have been waiting to ride it for a year...

... I finally made it to SFNE and was very disspointed with it. It was the most uncomfortable ride I hae ever been on (those darn "bubbles" are too hard! My chest laying against those doesn't feel right...)

If it wasn't for that, it would be OK... but not what I expected. Oh well, still a neat idea.
