Huss Dive Bomber

In this interview http://www.onridecentral.com/interviews/interview.php?interviewID=3

The Nort America Sales rep says that HUSS as a new giant ride called the dive bomber does anyone now what this ride is, or was it never released. The inteview was in 2002 so you would think it would already be on thier website but it's not.

Thanks,
Jake

Good question,I doubt it's the topple tower as Dollywood's got one coming for 06 so my guess is that divebomber is a protoype that's either not yet completed or was abandoned after the feasibility to design & build the ride proved impossible.
Dive Bomber could have been the production name for the Topple Tower, y'know. Kind of like how Windows Vista was originally called Longhorn; it's common for companies to have working names for their products before they decide on a final marketable name.
I've noticed that Huss doesn't have anywhere near all their rides on their website. Look for really [older] popular items like the Enterprise, Ranger, etc. They're not linked from anywhere on their website.

The pages are still there if you know the names of the rides and play around with the URL numbers to "hack" it like I did with the Enterprise and Ranger.

"Life's What You Make It, So Let's Make It Rock!"
From the article-

"A new Giant Ride named Dive Bomber and a brand new very affordable ride idea that combines the visuals of a tower ride with a very unique ride pattern. Stay tuned."

Here it seems that Bob Dean was talking about 2 different rides- the unique tower ride is most likely the Topple Tower, and I believe the Dive Bomber has yet to be seen. Above this he also mentions a ride for 2003 called Delirium (in addition to the giant Frisbee.)

I'll be at IAAPA next week- maybe I can find out.

That would be awsome RCMAC if you could find out something. Will you be taking pictures of IAAPA, I think IAAPA is an interesting thing.

Wasn't the Everly Roll-O-Plane (http://www.flatrides.com/Ride%20Index%20Pages/rolloplane.html)called Dive Bomber outside the US? I am curious if they were considering a Giant version of this.
