I was watching the news earlier and it said that a hurricane is heading for the florida coast sometime during next week. I know that orlando isn't on the coast, but what if the high winds hit the convention, would they cancel it or something
This doesn't sound like it will be a problem. I believe the hurricane is threatening right now and from what I saw on the noon news, Florida appears to be dodging the bullet. IAAPA really doesn't start until Sunday and the show floor doesn't open until Wednesday the 14th.
Wooooo.....high winds, bad storms, indoor conventions. I'm not an expert but I'd say that IAAPA is safe from any hurricanes on the coast. Maybe a little wind but probably nothin to worry about.
The storm is moving away from the coast, and would be gone long before the show anyway even if it was moving in that direction.
