HP questions

Hi~

I have two miscellaneous questions on HP:

1. Is the Superdoorperlooper really painted purple (as seen in the 2002 brochure)?

2. Why doesn't the park have a scary Halloween event? Do the other area parks (e.g. Dorney, Knoebels and Kennywood) have this market all wrapped up, or does the management shun scary themes?

I wasn't aware Hewlett Packard had a model out named the Superdooperlooper ;)

I don't know the answer to #1 I might be able to answer your second question though. HP probably doesn't think that this is a profitable venture for them. Valleyfair has the same deal as for some reason people in the area could really care less about any sort of Halloween theme.

Excalibur Crew for 2002!

1)No, the 'looper will still retain the same blue color as always.

2)I'm pretty sure it's because Hersheypark markets itself to the "entire family". They don't want to do anything too frightening or build anything too extreme. [Admit it, Great Bear is not that intense or anything]. They don't think that having a scary halloween event will attract their target customers. They do have the "Hersheypark in the Dark" during the normal Halloween season. This isn't any kind of truly scary thing, but targets families with younger children and is a halloween-related event. [i.e. decorations and characters dressed up for halloween].

The color of SDL could be a printing color problem. They did repaint it blue several years ago. But, being as I haven't been to the park yet this year, maybe it is purple. Purple is in vogue right now. Examples: Apollo's Chariot, Batwing, BDK, both Medusa's, Laser etc.

The word "definitely" is definitely the most misspelled word on the buzz.
