How's this for the first drop on a woodie?

If you haven't seen these, check out these new Cornball Express shots (the drop appears to be straight down!):

Check out number 18, 19, and 20 for the first drop.

Thanks to IB Dave for getting these pics! Can't want to be on the front seat for that drop!

That drop looks amazing. I am definitely going to Indiana Beach this summer. I wonder how far it is from Cleveland? The drop looks like something Traver would have built. It even is a steel structure with a wooden track.
It looks vertical in 18 and about 75-80 degrees in 19. But then you look at picture 20. Even thats not bad. WTG CCI
Tight! (literally and figuratively) :)

What is life without it's ups and downs
Considering, they are calling Cornball a "Family" coaster, the angle is breathtaking. I can hardly wait.

Does anyone know if they have announced it's opening date yet??

Looks very similar to the first drop on Boulder Dash. And they call this a junior woodie, HAH!
It ain't vertical, but it sure is steep. Yes, very Traver-like!
Looks awesome!

I think any wood coaster is hardpressed to beat the first drop on the Wildcat, though.
IB is a must now!

I've heard it's supposed to be the weekend of May 19th/20th. Although that seems unlikely. It doesn't seem far enough along considering they still have to test it.

Press day is set for Friday, May 18th the Beach's first full operating day. I am SURE it will be open by then but am hoping it is even open next weekend.

25 summers at the place and you'd think I get a gold watch....instead another wooden coaster. Life is sweet!

I'm planning on going to Indiana Beach this weekend...I think it's time to ride the Hurricane ;). Although Cornball won't be open, I'm hoping to see it testing!

Man that is totally amazing! That is scary a wood coaster with that type of drop and turns like that. I have basically convinced my parents to take me the 19. But I can't wait after seeing these pics. It really makes you wonder what cci is going to do next, and how much air your going to catch on that. Thanks glitch for keeping me updated. Also the indiana beach, commercials have they changed any at all?
Jordon Dunham, no problem! I'm planning to go to IB on the 18th immediatelly after school, so I can ride it on the day it opened. I'll se if I can go a second time too

Also, I talked to a few friends at school who say that there are NEW Indiana Beach commercials on advertising Cornball Express. Go Indiana Beach!!!
