My season, 10! Medusa,Roar,Stealth,SCBB,Dueling Dragons, Hulk, and Rock N' Rollercoaster make for a great summer. So how was yours?

My rating is a 10, too. I never thought I'd do two parks outside of PKI in one year. They would be Cedar Point and BGT.The best coaters I really enjoyed riding this year were Montu, Raptor, Gwazi, and Kumba. Now for next year. :)

Definately a 10!!
This was my first summer as an "official enthusiast." I made it to 6 parks that were new to me, (CP, MA, HW, SFMW, PGA, SCBB) more than doubled my track record, made it to 8 "new for 2000" coasters (includes Perilous Plunge). I also discovered CCI woodies for the first time this year, where have you been all my life?
I have this site and it's members to thank for it. I would never have known about haw many great coasters there are out there if not for Coasterbuzz. Thanks go to YOU, the enthusiasts on Coasterbuzz, and of course Jeff, for making this site what it is.

Gotta ride 'em all!
10 with a bullet.
My wife and I made it to several new parks this year: CP, SFO, Kennywood, Valleyfair! and Michigan Adventure. We did our home park (SFGAm) numerous times (may go 1 more) and we're going to PKI this weekend (we hope).
My wife also got to go to BGW. I unfortunately had to stay home.
What an excellent 2000 and we're hoping to make 2001 even better.

My best Coaster Summer/season ever.
I got to do so many many great parks & coasters this year, and look forward to next year.
Among my highlights:
Getting to ride all 3 S:ROS versions!
Discovering great woodies like Ghostrider, Mega Zeph, Lightning Racer, Boulder Dash, Villain, Riverside Cyclone, Raven, Legend, Viper, The Boss and more.
Finding the charm of classic parks like Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and great classics like both California Giant Dippers!
Getting to compare similar coasters like Roar & Roar West, or Medusa and Medusa West. (Or the 2 million Boomerangs out there!)
Getting to explore so many new parks, including using my SF Season Pass to do all their flagship parks save 4 so far this year (exceptions are SFEG, and the 3 in Texas).
Finally, the thrill of the new supercoasters, especially MF and SOB, as well as Goliath, Raging Bull, and others.
I've had a great year and it's not over yet. Thanks, guys, for being such a great help in my quest for coastering.

You build it, I'll ride it
My best season ever! A definite 10.
20 total parks
100 coasters (50 never been on before)
Most Rides in a Day
• 70 on Excalibur / ACE event w/ERT
• 36 on Boulder Dash / ACE event w/ERT
• 24 on S:ROS at SFA / CoasterZombies event w/ERT
Still need to hit the western half of the U.S.A.
Hopefully can hit some in 2001.
My season was a 10. I made it to Cedar Point and PKI. Between the two I rode some outstanding roller coasters. I intend to do a lot better next year, but this season was great for me, I got my money out of my season pass to PKI, and got to ride two of the most talked about coasters of the year. Here's hoping next season will be as great as this one.
I only got to 2 parks, all of you are SO luckey. But them again I still can't drive yet. I did however hit Cedar Point and Michigan's Adventure. Millennium Force and Shivering Timbers are AWESOME.

Only A Few More Weeks To Go Full Force. At The One and Only Cedar Point.
Definitely my best season ever - 10+ at least.
- 18 parks, 13 we had never been to.
- Added 51 coasters to the track record -- finally broke 100!
- Got to ride 14 of the new-for-2000 coasters.
- Attended our first enthusiast events, including SRM, CoasterMania, and PPP.
I don't know if I'll have another year like this one, but I'd sure like to try! ;)

I'd have to say a pretty high 9 (sorry gang, SFO dropped it from making a full 10). First good coaster trip in about 3 years. This was to do the main Ohio parks (CP, PKI, SFO). Third time to PKI, but first time to CP and I was quite pleased. The crowds at CP didn't really bother me because I liked the layout of the park. SFO was where the problems in layout occurred (but I digress, we've all done this topic before).
In all, this year I added 17 coasters to my track record. I also joined this site this year after finding it through GuideToThePoint! I'm glad to have found a great site to discuss one of my favorite pasttimes. Thanks, Jeff!

Remember, no matter where you go...there you are.
I'd say my summer was a 9, only because I couldn't get out of California to coast. There are so many other places that I want to go. Oh well, there's always next year. This year rocked though, with Goliath, Stealth and Medusa here in California, three of the best coasters in existence in my opinion. Then, rounded out by Riddlers, Ghostrider, Roar, Viper and S:TE, it was a pretty good year. Next year will kick major boo-tay. I get to experience some of the best parks in the country: Cedar Point, Kennywood, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Great Adventure, Kings Island and Six Flags Ohio! Along with my the great parks in Cali, it'll be the best year ever! For me that is! ;) Peace.

Medusa at Marine World: the best in the west!
*** This post was edited by Coasterman J on 10/13/2000. ***
My best season ever, by far. I went to:
*35 different parks
*been coasting in every month except February
*Added around 90 new to me coasters
*broke 200 on my track record, something I never thought I'd do til middle of next year
*rode 20 new-for-2000 coasters, most I've ever done
*travelled to parks 3 days a week in the summer and still managed to work 50hrs at SFGAm (Four days open-close then three days off in a row)!
*First time at Holiday World -- I don't think I need to elaborate on that :)
*Made tons of new coaster friends, whom are always great to hang out with at parks
*Finally, I got to ride Millennium Force. This is by far my favorite coaster on this Earth (that I've ridden, of course). I've been to CP 10 visits this year, and going back for closing weekend. Racked up 28 rides on MF so far, and hoping for maybe 35.
As you can see, it's been one *heck* of a year!
Looks like Florida for nine days in December also, so that's only 2 months out of the year with no coastering for a northern Illinoi"an". Not bad! :)
-------------
"Legend 1 looks too intense for me."
Five new parks, 22 new coasters, over one hundred coasters now on the reccord, my first ERT events, and more. I would definetly say that this past summer was a fifteen on a scale of one-to-ten. The best summer of my life so far.
-------------
Six Flags America IS a Six Flags park!
10+++
This was also my first offical enthusiast summer, and what a summer it was !!!
We hit 19 parks with multiple visits to a few:
SFO ( 22 visits and counting...)
Conneaut Lake Park x 4 ( love the blue streak,100+spins)
Cedar Point x 3
PKI x 3
Waldameer x 2
SF Kentucky Kingdom
Holiday World (on top of my must visit again list)
SF St. Louis
Frontier City
SFoTexas(I will return here also)
SF Fiesta Texas
SF Astroworld
Lakemont Park
Bland's Park
Hershey Park(will spend more time here next time)
SF Darien Lake
Kennywood
Knoebels(definate re-visit)
SF America
My coaster count stands at 118, it was at 38 in April! My goal for the year was to hit 100 !!
I have been on so many GREAT coasters that it is now difficult for me to decide what is my favorite.
The only problem I have with this dream-like summer is the 6 months of withdraw I'm about to suffer..
We may be headed south by February, if we last that long. A trip to IOA might be the cure for the winter-time blues.
I also would like to thank Jeff and everyone else involved with the site for keeping us in touch and informed. I don't post often, but am here "lurking" almost every day.
Looking foward to 2001...
10 ALL THE WAY!!!!!!
2 words...Millennium Force!
And if that wasn't enough, I went to CP 3 times this year-most fro me ever.
And I had no intentions of going to PKI, but I got to go. It was SWEET!
9.5
Just because I still haven't been to Texas...
But I did go to:
Cedar Point
PKI
Kennywood
Hersheypark
BGW
SFoG
and
Wonderland (or something like that) Sydeny Austriala.
