How was Coaster Con 2004? Any Trip reports?

I didn't get a chance to go this year. For the people who went, how was it? Was it crowded? How were all of the ERT's? Any trip reports?

I was there for 2 days of coaster con, but I am not a member of ACE I just happened to have gone then. TTD was down one of the days, the other it was open.

I was there for the whole event, and had a fantastic time. Cedar Point did a fabulous job hosting the event, and even though it was the largest ACE Con in history, never did you wait long in line. I think the longest wait I had during ERT was maybe 10-15 min. The only (excuse the pun) drag was that there was no ERT on Dragster, but CP gave us each two Fast Lane (is that the name?) passes and with it opening up early on Wednesday, most got multiple rides before the line got long. While there, I got in 5 rides, two in the front seat. The Geauga Lake portion was fine as well, and given the short time period that CF has owned the property, it was very smooth. The only dissapointment was that Steel Venom (S:UE) was down (except during a brief time during Friday morning ERT, which I missed).

Again, a great Convention and I'm very glad I went!

I managed 23 rides on Millennium Force in 2 of the ERT sessions and could have easily got more. On Wed morning they had the special access gate open, just like Millennium Mania. It was definately a good time for power riding some of the other rides during ERT if that's what you desire. With my own eyes I only saw one enthusiass try something totally stupid. It was a pretty good time, I skipped the Geauga Lake part and went over to Hershey and Storm Runner, I was not disappointed.
