How to ride old school

Stumbled across this footage of the Cyclone Racer in Long Beach. I'm sure the ASO would approve! :)

Wow those directors were extremely creative!

Yeah, I caught this one last year, it came up on the DVR wish list for "roller coaster" or "rollercoaster"... The whole movie's a blast!

My grandfather used to love that ride. When I first started to become a coaster enthusiast, he told me that he wished I could have had a chance to ride it. My parents have told me the same thing.

My mother (1946-2009) once asked me why I go to Magic Mountain so much. I said I feel the most alive when I'm on a roller coaster.
2010 total visits: SFMM-9, KBF-2
2010 total ride laps: 437

So would this make the Cyclone Racer the 1st 4-D coaster (with help from a ladder)?

Good stuff! Thanks for posting that. Pretty amazing shots for the time period.

To being an "us" for once - instead of a "them".

It's all amazing but I love the shots with the single car ahead of the shortened train racing around the curve. Also when the older mom jumps in a single car to go chase after the guy, it's like a Warner Bros cartoon.

Pretty much anything Swampfoxer puts up on youtube is incredible.

^I agree! That was hysterical! I especially love the old lady with the umbrella! :)
