How to position two CF parks 90 minutes from one another.

It really going to be interesting to see how CF will create a point of difference between CP and GL. If CF is touting GL as a traditional family park than why the proposed Hyper (could it have already been purchased by SF?). I could see CF putting in coasters such as a spinning mouse, water coaster, or super saturator in GL. How will effect CP decision in the future Cp really wouldn't need a flyer or a floorless now that CF owns such rides only 90 minutes away. There are enough ride opions out there that it wouldn't be hard to fill both park with completely different ride packages. I'd like to see a land of giants at either park or a 4D at CP. With dup rides such as WT/SV or DD/MHNF I wonder if CF will do ride transfer program (even though on the GL web site they said there were not going to remove any of the rides they have). CF without a doubt go for thrill rides; but having a parks so close to eachother I suppose it will have to a fresh approach to GL rather than there usual format i.e. S&S tower, B&M invert, Hyper, snoopy, and a shoot the chutes. *** Edited 5/14/2004 2:52:29 AM UTC by Cedar "Counter" Point*** *** Edited 5/14/2004 2:57:47 AM UTC by Cedar "Counter" Point***

No offense but this was dicussed as-nauseum when the sale was announced and when it was finalized. I'm sure you can find some topics if you search and just reactivate those.

Just my .02 cents.

I suppose your right but hasn't really sunk until now that both parks are now open for the season.
"How to position two CF parks 90 minutes from one another"?

That's easy. Put one in Sandusky and the other in Aurora.

Besides according to CP Hypers are family rides. Seriously watch the clientele Magnum has I have never seen so many little kids jumping in line for the thing. I guess 200ft just isnt 200ft when a 420 footer is next door. A Hyper designed and marketed right can be in a family park as much as an Impulse, Floorless and Flyer can ;).

I think more of a Paramount approach dark rides smaller coasters etc. I'm not a CEO. I'm sure whatever CF does it will be cool.
