How simialiar are Scream & RR?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but arent all B&M's loud? They are just made that way. The only one that isnt loud is one that is filled with sand, and since SFMM doesnt need to worry about how loud it is, I am willing to bet it is going to loud, just like any other standard B&M.

well the loudness of scream won't really matter. I mean its built over the friggin parking lot. And if anybody hears it,they will be the people in the colossus station and line.loudness will be the least of Scream!s problems.

The least of Scream's problems?? What is that supposed to mean? Do you think Scream will have problems? If so, I think you are in the minority on that.

Personally, I love loud B&M's. The roar that Mantis made was awesome when your standing in line for it, I just love that sound. The only thing I would hate would be if the lift hill was unbearably loud, and the only coasters I've ever come across with annoyingly loud lifts are corkscrews, even without that would anybody consider not riding Scream if they thought it was 'too loud'? Seriously! I think MF is a bit loud at CP but the last thing I'm going to do is complain!

kRaXLeRidAh - the homes around Knotts have been there for at least 40 years, if not longer, long before the park began the transformation into a major themer. SFMM, on the other hand, has been relatively isolated from homes until the last few years.

Don't worry about the lift being loud at all.. BKF is 2 yrs old and is still as quiet as ever.. B&M use rubber/plastic coating on the anti-rollbacks so it doesnt hit as hard and loud, so it will be quiet.. trust me..
