How much would you pay for VIP treatment?

I don't think I'm about to say anything that anyone here didn't already know, but...

1) I used to think the same thing about Disney. I'd gone to DL/DCA twice as a coastertool, both times cramming 2 parks into a single day. And then to WDW as a family for 5 days. When you are taking it slower, IE with a kid, you can absolutely see where your money goes. There are so many little things, and big things, that simply could not be done at SF/CF admission rates. And the parks are CLEAN too!

2) While "few are visiting at the $99/day price point," they are indeed still getting your money. When you pay *only* $50/day because you bought a multi day pass, it still costs a lot, does it not? Add to that the cost of food, incidentals, and all those t-shirts and mickey ears that they somehow compel you into buying, and yeah, you're still paying $99/day.

3) Where they make even more money is by attracting larger parties. While a trip to the local amusement park may just be a father/son trip, a trip to a Disney park brings the entire family of 4, and many times even Grandma and Grandpa come along.
