how much land is sfdl?

how much land does sfdl own? Usually when taking trips with family their, there is many fields just east of the main parking lot and east of the performing arts center. the campground also is based on a huge chunk of land

SFDL ownes a lot of land, but I'm not too sure about the fields. The park claims it owns hundreds of acres of land, however they also factored in the land for the campground and hotel.

Yeah I know that but what gets me is that they don't have a good selection of roller coasters.

If they have the land why not build on it.

I heard next year is there 40 year anniversary and I'm sure they will build something next year.

As for this year I think they will just keep up with improvements for they park and maybe a Huss flat ride

I beleive SFDL has somewhere around 2000 acres of land includeing the hotel and camp ground. As for getting something for their 40th annevirsary, I doubt it. The last big thing we gat was SROS in '99, so we probably wont get anything big for a while now. Yes they have a lot of land, but they apparently dont want to use it.

Nothing this year. We got S-man in '99 and twister in 2000. We have been gettin Jipped. The Park owns A TON of land and builds crap. I can see them building a coaster next year but not a recordbreaker. This year will be nothing and putting all the land to waste.

There is a lot of debate about the lack of rides SFDL has. The bottom line is this SFDL is not at the top of importance for SF. This year the bigger parks are getting there rides.

But I've heard through the grapevine that SFDL is getting something next year hopefully behind the go kart tracks, so there is still hope for my hometime park. Just have to be patient.

darienlakefan I heard that they would get a Batman themed ride in 2004 or 2005 to take out the go karts and other parts next to the batman thrill spectacular. I heard it would be a batman the dark knight clone. I've heard this a couple of times that they dont have a batman themed roller coaster and that they wanted one.
