How much is RCT2 going for retail?

I found a location in Chicago that will be selling them soon, but they weren't priced yet. The kid on the phone wasn't too thrilled when I asked him if he could check, but assured me they would be out for sale once he got the display set up in a couple hours.

I was just wondering how much loot I should take with me when I go to pick a copy up.

I think they will mostly all be $29.99 + tax. That's what it is online and at Target.

Was that location at the corner of North and Sheffield? This location will supposedly have them Friday at the earliest, sunday at the latest. (Best Buy)

Your best bet is to go to Costco. I know its $25, and NO ONE beats costco's return policy. The CD gets scratched 2 years down the road. you bring the merchandise back (you don't even need a box but one would be nice) and also your costco card. No questions asked.

Best Buy and Circuit City usually try to under-cut each other price wise the first week an new video game or DVD or CD comes out, so that is where I think it might be the cheapest... but if you can get it earlier than Oct 15... more power to ya!

Circuit City's deal is history. That was opening day only (please correct me if I'm wrong on that). Your best bets now are costco and Target. Costco's daily price is $23.99, and target's price until sunday or so is $22.88. Costco's return policy is much more liberal though. If you are at all dissatisfied, return it, even if the CD is in 2 pieces or you lack the reciept and box. I recently returned a watch right off my hand (literally, I gave them my watch only), very old and worn. Fortunately they don't resell stuff like that.

Speedy-luckily your wrong on the Circiut City deal(the sale ends tomorrow 10/20/02) at least in So.California. My local best but has it for $24.99(Pasasdena, Ca). I myself paid $24.99 at BB and then had a price match from CC so i paid $21 bucks with tax.

Just bought it today from Circuit City (Gurnee, IL) for 19.99 + tax. They had a ton in stock. Usually a game only has one little block for 1 box stacks, but CC had about 4 across and about shelfs high.
