How many people use the poll?

I was just wondering out of how many votes is the new poll and old poll's (like how many votes total). I hope I'm not asking anything wrong here, sorry if I am.

It depends on the subject matter, but generally a poll will do 400 to 500 votes in the first week.

This is actually a VERY good question. Perhaps you could integrate a poll counter to the interface, updated at specific intervals (once an hour, once a day etc).

just noticing in the poll that an Arrow design, followed by an Intamin, are leading the way.  First B&M coaster rates as #3.  Is this a sign of the times, a foretelling of the future, or just an anomaly caused by the geographic mix of the 'buzzers voting...just wondering!

Well, I'm sure that the number of people on coasterbuzz has a high relative percentage from Ohio and SoCal.  If I remember correctly, the Where do you live poll showed that few people were from the South, putting SFOG at a slight disadvantage, as well as SFNE.  X and Xcelerator are close to one another, so for those in SoCal, it's probably just an X vs. Xcelerator poll.  And of course with such a large number of CP fans here, anything CP will do well.  X is the clear winner, but the other four are kind of vague due to a somewhat biased sample to determine a clear cut 2nd-5th
